Mid-County Office Closed Several Months for Renovations
The Pinellas County Property Appraiser's Mid-County Office, located at 13025 Starkey Rd in Largo (co-located with the Tax Collector), will temporarily close its doors for extensive renovations beginning January 15th, 2024. The closure is anticipated to last for several months as part of a comprehensive improvement initiative to create a more modern and efficient workspace for both employees and citizens served by the Property Appraiser and Tax Collector at this location.
The renovation project aims to transform the Mid-County Office into a state-of-the-art facility that meets the evolving needs of the community. The improvements will include updates to the interior layout, technological enhancements, and infrastructure improvements to ensure a more streamlined and customer-friendly environment.
During the closure, residents and property owners in the Mid-County area are encouraged to utilize alternative service options provided by the Pinellas County Property Appraiser's Office. These options include visiting alternate locations or using online services through the official website pcpao.gov, where users can access a wide range of property-related information and conduct various tasks, such as file for homestead or other exemptions, without visiting the physical office. Mid-County staff members will be relocated to one of our other 3 locations during this time. Please visit pcpao.gov/maplocation for all property appraiser locations.
"We understand the inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciate the community's patience and cooperation as these improvements are made," said Mike Twitty, Pinellas County Property Appraiser.
Updates on the progress of the renovation and any changes to the reopening date will be communicated via our website and local media outlets.
